Fundació Joves Navegants: Educating to Protect the Mediterranean
Can Bordoy collaborates with the Fundació Joves Navegants, a Mallorcan organization with more than 30 years of experience dedicated to environmental education, social inclusion, and the conservation of the Mediterranean. Through the Love the Mediterranean project, the foundation conducts educational and scientific activities aboard the Galaxie, a training sailboat converted into a 100% electric-powered vessel. This initiative brings the sea closer to younger generations and fosters a more mindful and respectful relationship with the marine environment. In addition, the foundation promotes inclusive activities with young people from Amadip Esment, providing educational experiences and opportunities to interact with the sea. The collaboration began with the sponsorship of the Galaxie sailboat during the 31st Club de Mar Classic Regatta and aims to expand to future initiatives related to environmental education and the protection of the Mediterranean.
Partnership with Esment: Social Inclusion and the Local Economy
Can Bordoy also collaborates with the Esment Foundation, a leading organization in Mallorca dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, their families, and their communities. As part of this commitment, we feature products made by Esment in various areas of the hotel, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable economy. This partnership helps support workplace integration projects and creates opportunities for hundreds of people in Mallorca, while also promoting responsible and locally sourced consumption.
